Slide Show Sydney Fireworks
This is the website of a friend Stephan and I met near Sydney in 2005. He's a great outdoorsman, and a good photographer, as you can see:
Just hit "Start Slide Show" on the left hand side.

Re: Slide Show Sydney Fireworks
Glad you like them.
Jens-Uwe took us for a walk in a National Park. I still remember that day very vividly, it was one of the best of the whole vacation. His pictures bring back wonderful memories of Katoomba, as well.

Re: Slide Show Sydney Fireworks
I might be bumping an old post.. But it's new to me! lol.
Those are really nice pics. I've always liked photography.. and i always try to take the 'coolest' pics but for the life of me I cannot take pics of fireworks.. I always get a 'light trail' from nearby lights.
kinda like this pic http://josh.chatz.nl/me/STL/100_0463.jpg
But I just use my cheap digicam so that might be why lol.

Re: Slide Show Sydney Fireworks
You need to use a tripod, Josh, to stop the camera moving during the longer exposure. Maybe a timer or a remote button too.

Re: Slide Show Sydney Fireworks
Nighttime photos are hard, and as Suzie said, a tripod is best, so as not to get movement.
