Homebake
Wow, what can I say?
TOTALLY AWESOME
The bands we saw / heard:
After The Fall
The Spazzy's
Rocket Science
Gerling (doing some DJ sets - well cool)
Pete Murray
Eskimo Joe
Grinspoon
Spiderbait
Jet (they were the last band on & it was absolutely packed, so I had the brialliant idea of going on the ferris wheel. That way we got to see them as well as hear.
They had a huge screen set up near the main stage so you could still see the bands if you were squished right up the back.
Was great wandering around between stages having a listen, then sauntering off & finding someone new to listen to. I had an absolute ball, but i was soooo tired when I finally got home around 12.30am

Glad to hear you survived it all Pumba
I would have loved to have caught the "Grinspoon" and "Jet" set myself
Everyone was just really great. My friend had heard that Jet weren't good live, but they were more than fine.

I just love those types of festivals , my fav is the Big Day Out , always something to see , and you get to hear bands you might'n normaly listen too , plus the added bonus of running into friends you haven't seen for yonks
A great day all round & all in the one place too ....Bonus
Yep, never have to move too far, get exposed to things you might'nt normallt listen to - all good. We managed to run into a few people we used to work with & caught up with them, so that was cool, too

Thanks for the rundown Pumba
very welcome
